If you're interested in joining a growing organization, one that likes energy and enthusiasm, this Plant Manager position could be for you. Our client has a nice plant in the Southwest corner of Missouri that they need a leader for. This is a 30-person manufacturing plant with multiple machines.

SUMMARY:

• As the Plant Manager you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the day-to-day business operations, ensuring sales and production objectives are met at the lowest cost consistent with product quality requirements, while maintaining high safety standards and ensuring all legal and regulatory compliance. Develops business plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to support growth to annual sales volumes through delegating authority to key direct reports and utilizing inputs from cross-functional peers.
• You will demonstrate proficiency in P&L statement analysis and with budget responsibility of driving year-over-year cost reductions
• Direct functional responsibility for safety, quality, production scheduling, production, maintenance, tooling, and engineering.
• Work closely with cross-functional peers in Sales, Customer Care, Quality and Human Resources to support local and Company-wide business initiatives.
• Responsible for the site’s ISO and/or Quality Management Program.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-year Bachelors degree required
• 5+ years leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing operation with proven track record for high performance results.
• Manufacturing experience required
• Must have experience with P&L and budget control
• Good Computer Skills: Microsoft Office -- MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency in use of Quality Systems, ERP (NetSuites preferred) & MRP systems.

The company is offering a competitive salary $115,000-$125,000 + 15% bonus paid quarterly.

This plant is located 1 hour and 20 minutes from Joplin, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Springfield and about an hour and 45 minutes South of Kansas City, MO in SW Missouri.
